From 2002-2015 Greg owned and operated webAssist.ca, a website/application development and consulting firm. In addition to leading marketing strategy and business development, he managed local and remote teams and acted as Senior Project Manager and primary consultant for all major projects.
Proprietary products and solutions developed included:
- AutoAssist: an online platform for car dealers to manage & promote their sales inventory online,
- HRAssist: a web-based job posting portal and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) that is currently being used by a large property development firm and a retail chain with 40+ locations
- TaskAssist: an agency management tool that handled the requirements, assets, scheduling, time-tracking, and billing of client tasks and projects
- webAssistCMS: a web-based digital asset & content management system that enabled companies to manage the administrative aspects of their web properties
- A mobile app for a large property management company that enabled tracking all aspects of maintenance/service calls including budgeted versus actual time, GPS-enabled scheduling, messaging, and a comprehensive suite of reporting tools
- The business operating system for a wellness company developed to track and report on a variety of data points relating to health & wellness goal progress
In 2015 webAssist.ca merged with Arcane, a rapidly expanding digital marketing agency with an emphasis on development.
